Religious Education
At Aldersbrook we would like Religious Education to be meaningful and engaging so that all pupils have access to learning in every lesson and feel involved and confident in each of the units and all the skills they are learning. The children learn to articulate clearly and coherently their personal beliefs, ideas, values and experiences while respecting the right of others to differ. We intend for pupils to be curious and independent by learning about and from religions and world views in local, national and global contexts.
Their curiosity allows them to discover, explore and consider different answers to these questions. The factual knowledge the children acquire is embedded in the engaging teaching and learning as it meaningful and related to the children's own experiences.
If you require your child to be removed from all or part of the RE curriculum, please arrange an appointment with your child's class teacher.
