A big thank you to our School Games Organiser for an amazing Judo festival. Congratulations to our talented children for their outstanding performances, and a special thank you to Gemma Howell; European champion and 2x Olympian for the inspiration and special appearance.

Our Year 6 pupils recently had the extraordinary opportunity to step back in time and engage with history in a truly unique way, as we welcomed a World War II soldier to our school. This immersive acting experience allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the life of a soldier during the tumultuous times of World War II. They learnt about the daily challenges, bravery, and significant roles soldiers played in shaping our history. This visit was not only educational but also a memorable experience that has undoubtedly left a lasting impression on our young learners.

Year 2 had a fantastic day at the Great Fire of London workshop, led by 'History of the Page.' Thanks to great planning by our teachers and parents, our pupils enjoyed learning about history in a fun and interactive way. We're really thankful to everyone who helped make this day fun and immersive for every child in Year 2.

We are thrilled to announce that Ezra Mayers, a former pupil of Aldersbrook, has achieved a remarkable milestone in his football career by signing a senior professional contract with West Ham United. Year 4 embarked on a captivating voyage through history during their visit to the Roman amphitheatre at Guildhall Gallery. Guided by a knowledgeable archaeologist, they delved into the past, examining intriguing artefacts and absorbing the secrets of Roman Britain. Their day was enriched with immersive drama, allowing them to step into the shoes of gladiators and emperors. It was a hands-on learning experience that transported them to a world of epic battles and grand spectacles, leaving them with a deeper understanding of the fascinating Roman era.
