Year 6 held a Speechmaking competition to choose 3 children to represent Aldersbrook at the North East London Primary Speechmaking Competition, which was hosted by Wanstead High School. Five Primary schools from around the borough came together to celebrate children' s Speechmaking. The theme of the speeches was 'Local Community' and the 'UN Conventions on the Rights of the Child'. 

The children chosen to represent Aldersbook were: Ethel Parnell (6G), Max Evbenata (6A), Mine Oral (6F). 

They all did fantastically well and received a certificate for their participation.
